Ok, what is this thing? A 8" HDPE mine holder? How does it work? Did you make it?

Looks like a tear-gas launcher they used on Sons of Guns when they did the armored car
I'm not familiar with pricing, but it looks like some of the chinese close prox type setups I've run across while searching for equipment. There are a number of dealers/manufacturers in china who supply these as well as other racks. I never checked into pricing due to the cost of shipping most larger items from china...unless you're shipping by sea. That and the whole quality issue with equipment manufactured in china.

I believe it is for stage/close prox stuff. I didn't make it, was just going through my email and deleting stuff, and this was from a China manufacturer sent to me in 2007, but don't remember even seeing this at that time.
Anyway, the concept of a remote board built into an angle rack like that seems intriguing. As I said, I believe this is for gerbs or flame pots and/or "gentler" items, but strengthening it by using different materials so it could be used for comets or mines seems like a reasonable idea. Just figured if these have been around for a while, someone might be using them or variations of them.
Guy walks into the local military recruiting office.
Sergeant says, "So you want to help defend the country?"
Guy says, "No, I just want salutes."
