    So I heard this on the radio this morning.

    Apparently he took apart fireworks to use the blackpowder to put in the cannon.

    The amount of stupidity in this article just astounds me...

    I got chewed out for picking up a bottle of rifle powder for my cannon at the local hunting/fishing shop. They told me the rifle powder would blow the sumbitch, let alone flash. I guess we all learn somehow. Too bad for him the redneck's at our tackle shop weren't around to tell him otherwise.

    Mythbusters were shooting a cannon in livermore ca, and they hit some houses about 4 miles away, and they knew the cannon had a 5 mile range. Some body messed up. Bad aim or too much powder.
