any other pyrotechnic-related merchandise, advertising on Pyro

options.
Pyro
Universe receives approximately 1,200 unique hits
each day. During the U.S. June/July firework season, traffic
spikes up to 2,000+ unique hits per day, which equals
out to around 425,000 unique hits per year.
Together, all of the pages of Pyro Universe are viewed
approximately 80,000,000 times per year! Pyro
Universe does not employ methods of artificially increasing hits
through the use of deceiving banners, pop-ups, or website re-directs.
Why waste money to have your ads placed on search
engines or other sites where the majority of the viewers don't care
about fireworks? Since Pyro Universe is completely
dedicated to fireworks, your advertising will always be seen
by your target audience. Everyone who comes to Pyro Universe does so because they are
genuinely interested in fireworks.
Currently,
the following advertising options are available:
Banner
Your
468x60 graphic banner will be shown throughout the most popular
pages of Pyro Universe, including the main page, the article
pages, as well as near the top and bottom of every page on the
forum and photo gallery.
To
run a banner ad on Pyro Universe, you purchase a certain amount
of "views", or
times that your banner will be shown by our ad software. For
instance, purchasing 100,000 views for $33 will guarantee that your banner
will loaded on a page 100,000 times. This may last several
months (when traffic is slow), or as little as a couple of weeks
(during the early summer, when traffic peaks). The more views
you purchase, the more you save.
At
these rates, the cost of advertising to you is only a few
hundredths of a cent each time your ad is seen by a fireworks
enthusiast!

Your
banner ad can contain whatever you like - text, images, animated
fireworks, etc. It must conform to the following criteria:

Less
than 200 kB in size

Must
be in .jpg, .gif, or .png format
-
Cannot
contain rapidly-flashing frames, graphics, or other elements
designed to distract or annoy the viewer

Must
be less than 5 frames
The

If you need a
custom banner made for you,
one can be created for you for the following prices:
Single
frame banner: $30
Multi-frame
banner: $25
for first frame, $20
for each additional frame
Banner
edits (adding/subtracting a logo, changing wording): $15
To
get your ad on Pyro Universe, send an email with the following
information:
- Your banner ad in .gif, .png or .jpg format
(or a description of the type of banner you'd like me to create for
you). Flash banners are not accepted.
- The URL you want the ad to link to
Payment
is accepted in the form of checks made out to Colin Bradley, or
through Paypal - whichever you prefer. Once you email me the
above information, I will reply with my mailing address for you to
send the check to, or with a Paypal payment link. Your ad will
go on Pyro Universe as soon as payment is made, and I will notify you
of when that happens to make sure you are satisfied with your
banner's appearance on the site. In addition to that, I will
provide you will a username and password so you can log on to my
banner management program and keep track of how many times your
banner has been viewed, and how many people have clicked on it.
You
can change your banner at any time simply by sending me a new banner
file. You may only change your banner twice per month.
