A Fallin' Wall o' Balls
well sort of.
doing a show at waterside and am going to do a simultaneous barrage of reloadable shells in a pattern as described as follows
launch 8 shells simultaneously in a fan spread at a low angle over water(all at same low angle relative to the water) to achieve a line of bursts going from left to right about 6-10 feet above the water....
at the same time...8 more shells launched in a fan pattern all at an angle that will result in a line of bursts going from left to right about 20-30 feet above water(this line of bursts 10-20 feet above the previous shells bursts)
and another row of 8 shells in a line of bursts at about 40 feet above the water
and so on until the last row of 8 shells are fired from tubes at 90 degrees(vertical)
all the shells fired simultaneously shoud result in a wall of bursts ....in a square pattern.......with lowest edge of square being about 10 feet above water about 60 feet from the shoreline ....and the top edge of the square being straight up from the mortars which are set at shoreline.....
X=viewer
O's equal bursts
M=mortar tube placement
view from side would be as below
......................O
.............................O
....................................O
............................................O
...................................................O
...........................................................O (10 feet above water)
.X...................M..........................................
and what viewer would see is
OOOOOOOO (max altitude straight above mortar tubes)
OOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOO (10 feet above water...furthest from shore)
any suggestions |

picture if you will......shell bursts 60 feet from left to right, 10 feet above water, to the maximum height of reloadable shells.....simultaneously in one salvo.....
and repeat a secong and maybe third time.....with each successive salvo resulting in more bursts within those dimensions(either thru the use of more shells....or going to shells that have 2 or 3 bursts per shell)maybe with some cakes mixed in)
and immediately at the end of the last salvo when viewers are used to bursts being distant from tem(height-wise and/or away from shore.......have a row of a bunch of Critical Acclaim mines set off simultaneously at the waters edge........or somehow on the opposite shore.......or from small platform about 20 feet from shore. |
