Why did you make the stands out of 1/2" copper tubing? Great idea with the 1/4" hardware cloth on the bottom.

Well these launchers are about 15 years old now so the copper really stood up to time and fire. As for the screen on the bottom I originally built it with 1/2" screen on the top and bottom. The bottom just kinda helps the rockets to go out straight. When we used screen on top we would criss cross all the fuses to make a giant web. I converted all of them to pegboard a while back because its faster to load and it goes off better.
