My 2010 4th of July lake front show laid out, fused up, covered in plastic, tarped and ready to fire... In all I shot just over 20 cases of pyro... The nearly 20 minute show included hundreds of cakes and shells representing/including over a dozen brands and effects... This is one of the larger shows I have been apart of and without a doubt the biggest I have done on my own... This years show took over 3 months to plan and 2 of us nearly a week straight to fuse... To spite all the rain we had that day/week, everything went off perfectly as planned... The finale was jaw dropping, we literally shut the lake down!
The only problem we had this year besides all the rain, was the video camera failed and we only got a few small cell ohone clips of the shoot... But its ok because for 2011 we are tentatively planning to shoot at this site again and since I will be getting paid next year, I guess I have no choice but to out do this years spectacle
I am currently thinking about e firing 50+ cases of pyro from over a dozen different locations along the waterfront... Well I guess you gotta dream big right?
With that said I would like to once again thank all the Pyro-U members who helped make this years show possible... From the group shoots and demos, to the wholesale warehouse road trips, its all been worth it... This was an amazing fireworks season and I look forward to doing it all over again next year when im back from Afghanistan!
Untill then, TAKECARE EVERYONE & GODBLESS***
