Announcing Bigfireworks BUYING GROUP sign up for the Pyro U members.
All members of this group will receive UPDATE 04/13/2008 WHITE LIST PRICING SEE ATTACHED pricing for everyone. No minimums, one at a time or as a group. Buy when ever you want, this just makes it easier for everyone. A few of the extra perks for this group are, everyone gets a free Bigfireworks T Shirt with their first purchase and buy one get one free on any single items, retail pricing (no min) anytime. We will also get together for a group buy at the Potterville Distribution Center for all those that can attend May 17th. Bigfireworks will have food, refreshments and other fun things going on. We are still putting together the special events that will take place at the group buy and will be announced at a later date, soon. If any of you have any ideas you'd like to share for the meet, please PM me. Also as a group we can arrange splitting of cases to get more variety. *Reminder Bigfireworks will sell whole cases only any splits we do will be on our own. Unless as mentioned above you may purchase off the retail price list, and receive buy one get one free. For ordering contact Eric directly at Phone: 517-645-0200, FAX: 517-645-0202, email eric@bigfireworks.com or on-line, place an on-line order at igfireworks.com. When you complete your order, you will pay American Eagle/Bigfireworks.com directly, with terms that they accept. If you live to far away to drive to Potterville MI, you can have the fireworks shipped closer to you. From what I'm told they have very competitive shipping rates. If there are several of you from the same area, you can form a "sub-group" and group your order and have it all shipped to one place. This saves allot on shipping. Contact Eric directly for any shipping quotes, you will need to know exactly what your order is to get an accurate shipping price. I encourage members that are interested in purchasing from them to go to the demo if at all possible. The demo is on May 3rd 2008. For the most part this demo is for Bigwholesale's wholesale customers. Please keep in mind we need not discuss pricing out side of our group. We will have a special area for all the pyro u members at the demo. I'll keep you posted as the date gets closer. IF YOU WANT TO JOIN THE SPECIAL BUYING GROUP, YOU MUST PM Sparky the following information: Pyro U name, Your real name, address, City, state, zip, phone number and email address. I will make a list of people and send it to eric@bigfireworks.com. ONLY PEOPLE ON THE LIST WILL BE PART OF THIS SPECIAL BUYING GROUP. I would also like to use this thread for discussion of their products. If you have experience with their products please share your thoughts. A few items I liked this year were Burn It Up, tall mines with BMF breaks at the end. Chronic like Scuba Diver, but fuller breaks. BMF outstanding v effect large breaks, I'm told this may come in some different variations this year. Liquid Crystal awesome sprinkler cake 194 shot. Professional 4 Pack, excellent variety of big performers. Size Doesn't matter very nice 200g. And those Sky Lanterns, very cool. As the new items come in I'll keep you posted, lots of new info to come. Thanks Bigwholesale and the Pyro U members for all you do!

Thank you Sparky for putting this together for the members once again. I know how much work is involved in organizing a group buy and now a "buying group" so we can enjoy those good prices whenever it fits our scedule and budget. Thanks also to the Jim and Eric at Bigfireworks for allowing this flexibility to take advantage of those great prices. (COMPLETELY SHAMELESS PLUG) I hear they got a new cake called the Big No No, I hope it is a contender for the grand prize in the naming contest. (Yes I have no shame)

Just a note on a few questions from this morning.
All must register every year until further notice. If you signed up for the 07 buy, you wont automatically be part of the new group you will need to sign up for the 08 buying group. Although if you did participate in last years group it takes less time to update a customer than to enter a new one. No big deal either way, just wanted to clear that up. Also after signing up you will receive this pricing anytime with a group or individually, no minimums. |

suhweet! I'm glad that this is done earlier than the victory buy because last year my orders were split up. Maybe this time I'll just order exclusively from bigfireworks to save on shipping.

I'm hoping to take advantage of this sometime towards the end of this month. Anyone else planning on heading up to the Dist Center as well that might want to split some cases?

PM sent. Thanks sparky, Eric, Jim, et. al. I love this time of year. Price lists coming out, new product starting to be introduced. I almost enjoy planning and shopping more than shooting! Well, okay, maybe not.

I'm interested in the bogo @ retail just for little stuff and was wondering how that works out. Is it for first time buyers only? If so how do we carry out this deal?

MrX
A few of the extra perks for this group are, everyone gets a free Bigfireworks T Shirt with their first purchase and buy one get one free on any single items, retail pricing (no min) anytime. Sorry for the confusion... Anyone in the group can at anytime do the BOGO, off the retail price list. Picked a date, May 17th, 11:00 at the distribution center in Potterville. Lunch and refreshments around 11:30 -12:00. Other activities will be announced as we get closer to the date. I hope this works for everyone, hard month with Mothers Day and Memorial weekend. We now have 61 people in the Buying Group. FYI, I'll be out from 10/19/07 to 10/24/07, so I wont be returning any PM's or email until the 24th. Thanks Bigfireworks for an early look at the list for 2008. It looks like bigs pricing is off to a good start. It will be interesting to see what adjustments will be made after actual shipping costs are applied. I think they pretty much know what the product costs are, its the shipping that remains a bit of a mystery this early. Any of you guys like Hostile Takeover? Big is making 3 versions of this cake as a 25 shot finale assortment. Death Wish, Total Annihilation & Black Thunder. Hes also making up his version of Crazy Exciting buy the name of Feng Kuang. 200g Blue Lightning is bigs version of Blue & White Full Auto is bigs version of After Shock 500g Done Deal is bigs version of OBM Stone Cold is bigs version of OBMIL The Big Bad One is bigs version of Just Bad The big No No is bigs version of Loyal to None Absolute 16's is bigs version of Basic Instinct American Eagle is bigs version of Eagle Focus Dante's Inferno is bigs version of The Chosen One MIB is bigs version of Jack Ass Lock Down is bigs version of Final Countdown 16's Pure Energy is bigs version of Trucking Home Purple Rain is bigs version of Loud Lavender 19's Sychronisity is bigs larger version (312 shot) of America's Rhythm Felonious Assault is bigs version of Laying Down The Law The Cronic is bigs version of Scuba Diver Thermal Wave is bigs version of Scorpion Triple Treat is bigs version of Punisher Rock you Baby is like American Trucker, timing is a little different AT is faster, they offer both cakes this year shells Big Time is bigs version of Bad Ass Balls End Of Days is bigs version of Liberty w & w/out tails Courage Under Fire is bigs version of United We Stand The Riper is bigs version of Goliath Triad is bigs version of Trilogy The One is bigs version of Excalibur Tons of new stuff this year, more Sprinkler Cakes, UFO Reloadables. Looks like bigfireworks is making a lot of their own stuff now, hopefully that doesn't snuff out all of the other stuff they carry. I'm interested in how "the one" turns out.
As for z cakes, i hope they get more of them. The ones they have now are pretty cool, but i dont like the pacing very much. I wanna see some super fast z cakes. I'm excited to see their new 220 z cakes. Last edited by MrX8503; October 18th, 2007 at 10:08 AM. |

Man I was really thinking about still picking up a few things from my local guy but man the guys at Big are really taking care of us that is going to make it hard. The local guy is pretty cool and he has the stuff that is really hard to find and hasnt been made in awhile so many decisions so little time to blow stuff up! But anyways it is really appreciated I cannot wait until the 4th or maybe New Years Eve.

I don't know I forgot. Sorry man don't meen to be an ass but I don't know you and I know these forums are monitored big time. I don't want to accidently get someone looked at sideways just because he can find the stuff that is difficult to get a hold of. First run stuff that is a little better then 2nd year and so on. Still all 1.4g perfectly legal just odd cakes and what not that are hard to find. After all local for me could be within 500 miles of Northen Indiana considering I drive an average of 800-1200 miles a week for work.

Am I the only one a little nervous watching the videos of the new stuff? Seems like every single Big cake has crackle, and lots of it. Some really cool stuff though.
