Due to dozens of requests, we have decided to post the effects list for the "Mutiny" (aka Pirates of the Caribbean) fireworks show that won the PGI 1.4g competition.
We also have a favor to ask. We are trying to get the competition videos shared amoung the non-pyro community. So we are trying to get the "Digg" numbers up. If you have time, please go to the following link and give a "Digg" to the show. http://digg.com/videos/educational/C...eworks_Display "Mutiny" Effect List Critical Acclaim - World Class - Jakes Fireworks (Mines) Not in My Yard - World Class - Jakes Fireworks Yeah Baby Yeah - Brothers - Kellners Fireworks Kiss the Sky - Global - Kellners Fireworks Classic Country - Global - Kellners Fireworks Picture Perfect #500 Asst Tubes - Global - Kellners Fireworks Knockout Brocade - Brothers - Kellners Fireworks Turkey Shoot - Brothers Kellners Fireworks (Comets) Gold Crown - Glorious - Patriotic Fireworks Waterfall - Glorious - Kellners Fireworks We are happy to share this list to help others create their own displays. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions. Thanks, Danny Clark, Ron Silva, and the Big Daddy Team Glow Inc. http://www.glowinc.com Last edited by skylighter_danny; September 4th, 2007 at 08:11 PM. |

Fantastic show. I put in a dig for it.
As far as the cakes go, did you actually shoot the cakes or do you take them apart and shoot individual effects from them? |

Ron was kind enough to give a little of his time and do an interview with me for 76 Pyro after the shoot at the PGI. We'll have A great article on the show in the next issue due November 1st. Ron's a great guy and definitely knows his stuff. He also had a lot of great stuff to say about Dan and everyone at Crackerjacks. These guys are the best. For those of you who don't know, these are also the guys who did the Haunted Mansion show last year as well as the Phantom of the Opera the year before. Ron has won 3 straight PGI Class C competitions and that's never been done before.
