This may be a stupid question, but is this the 7th or 14th?

Picked up my order yesterday, it was nice to finally meet Mark.

Once you see that warehouse, you just can't stop thinking about it

Oh, I agree. I would go up there during the summer season when the weather was semi predictable and I had some free time from work.

Would go to the office, all of the guys there are top notch. Usually would spend an hour or so talking to them, and then would go to the back to pick up my order. Something about seeing pallets of fireworks ready to be loaded into my suv that brings out a little piece of joy in me.

This time, I had my order shipped, so I didn't get a chance to see Mark or the other guys. Work has gotten super busy, and I don't have much time to get out there. I was a bit scared that something would go wrong with the shipping, but got my order yesterday. Arrived perfectly Again, Mark is a great guy, and I have nothing but great things to say about him.

Just placed my order yesterday. And all I can say is that it was a pleasure to do business with Mark and all the others that helped me in the process.

This is the biggest order that I have ever placed and I cannot be happier with the way that Mark and Bigs has handled it.

Thanks again to Mark and all of Bigs for all that they do for us Pyro-U members. I will definately be doing business with them again.

In a previous post someone was asking about shipping. My budget last year for the fourth was $500 including shipping and I was really excited with what I got for the money. If I had to drive and pick the works up myself it would have cost me more than the shipping charges. I was living in PA at the time so shipping was an option. I could have ordered about twice as much as I ordered and the shipping would have been about the same. I'm in the Northeast so shipping from Bigs isn't really an issue for me compared to paying retail. I still pay retail when I pass a fireworks store because I love fireworks and I just can't help myself.

Will quake be available in 2010?

High quality stuff. Very thin laquer coating. Consistent burn time. The stuff I had was not dull red like in the link pogue posted, but bright pink. 3mm. Burns hot. Pretty close to perfect.

I'll 2nd everything PKid said....the burn time was right on, just be careful if fusing outdoors in the hot sun, those plastic bags start to condense on the inside and if you don't notice it...your fuse is damp.

Got together with a few of the guys last night.

Pro shells seem to be no different than last years version, excellent lift, break charge and effect.

Spyder and Apocalypse Now have the same effects but different timing. AN is longer Spyder seemed to have a little better height on some shots, both excellent cakes.

Full Auto is good, no changes. I didn’t care for 3-D, last years was better.

The Last Stand is not like World Class Chosen One, I think I like it a little better. It's like a volcano of gold brocade mines to brocades and crackle fired straight up, no zigzagging back and forth. Reminds me a little of Pyramid but with crackle and longer lasting 49 shots vs 30. The price also came down on the cake this year

Cold call was very nice, especially for the price.

Intersting discovery -After a closer look at the cakes Spyder came in as a 9 shot this year. That would explain why spyder ended sooner than AN. Both are are basically the same cake ones a 9 shot and ones 12 shot.

The GRPD is heading out around 8:30 from my place. Eagle1, Woody, Paperman, JSnyder and myself. Psquared called and said he was going but that he had to work later so was riding out solo. He may meet us or maybe not. plan to be there by 10 when the doors open to the mad rush of pyros racing to the shelves. i can just see the news. 4 trampled and hospitalized in mad race for pyro.

Sparky was tossing around the idea of pizzas when i spoke with him.
guess i wil lhave to bring some gluten free lunch with me
