I think they would ship but, to be certain, ask at:

    sales@aerialfx.com

Also, with the BATF thing, ODA will sell/ship you loaded match heads that just need to be wired. Probably the less expensive way if you want quality and and don't want to mess with making your own pyrogen etc.

If you do your own wiring email

    bert@hollywoodpyrotechnics.com

He has 3m 26g cooper wire ready to use (you won't believe how nicely these are bundled!!!). Use to be $15/100 and $140 for a 1,000...plus shipping.

Ok thanks, I will look into it. I will buy some once I get a new firing system. Going to be needing some once I get the system.

Bert at Hollywood sold his last batch right before PGI. I got 500 of them on his 1st run and they were pretty good. 26ga though so hot iron would melt the insulation if you didnt work fast enough. The stuff is tricky to split too. If you are going to make your own with ODA heads, stick with Seminole wire. It is the industry standard and the best IMHO.

Forgive my ignorance as I know very little about e-firing. How do you attach the ODA match head to a cake you want to fire. I realize you have to solder the wire that runs from the slat to the match head, but how is the match head actually affied to the fuse of a cake or shell?

Ok, still not sure whether or not I am going to be making my own or not. If I do not make my own where can I get some?

I would go with Fire Power Displays they are located in Florida. Example 2 meter matches are about $0.40 each. Go to www.firepowerdisplays.com Click on products, then firepower exl price list. BATF license required.

If you have all the local and national permissions there are lots of places some near, some far, some will ship!

If you do not have the paperwork and the storage facility, then Dan's Sparkies available from member Dan on here or some traders on here are a fully working and compliant licence free alternative. DIY methods are not discussed in threads on here.
