Should the "bomb" be removed from the logo and be replaced with some other representation of a firework?

yes. it should instead of being a bomb, have it be like a big willow or something.
I prefer the bomb logo, although a crackling ball might be for the junior pyrosI still like the red color though. The black one reminds me of Spy Vs. Spy
In all your getting, get understanding.
I will take any logo that improves uptime.
I think you should consider selling the rights. For some amount of money, a sponsor can have a WC, BC, PyroKing, etc., etc., cake in the middle of the rings for the year.

The logo has absolutely nothing to do with the uptime...

I voted "don't care/doesn't matter" but maybe replace it with a shell? Just add a lift cup, move the fuse to the bottom, and turn it brown!
A big willow or something would be hard to make look right, I think it would be better as a graphic rather than an actual photo.

I've thought about a rocket or firecracker. I definitely want it to be something that is instantly recognizable as a firework. A shell burst works, but it's quite cliché.

I've got an idea...How about creating a cartoon character that is in the shape of a ball shell. The character would have eyes, nose, and mouth. You could also add little arms and maybe he's holding a rocket in each hand.
He could be the PyroU mascot![]()
Yeah I'm addicted....you are too!!
We talk about fireworks, not bombs, and I think a brocade in the middle of the rings of the logo might be a nice touch - or perhaps a ball/chinese mortar shell photo/drawing with rings would be cool. You could even do something like a firework and then draw a rocket around the front with a smoke tail around the firework to depict a ring like deal for "universe"

I voted don't care, cause I Like the "symbol" although a shell or rocket would be "politically correct"![]()
Yes, I agree with being politically correct on this.
But I like maybe the "bomb" could look like Earth and a rocket circling around it with tail colors of red, white and blue.
Just my thought......![]()

I like the idea of an earth with rockets circling. Just add one rocket to each of the two eliptics (rings) you already have.
Or instead of an earth, make it a shell.

I don't really care. It'd be cool to have a logo contest, though. I'd love to see people get creative!
I like the contest idea too. This is a very community driven site, time for the community to give back. heck I bet if you baited the masses with fiberglass tubes to the winner that you would get a ton of entry's.

I commented in the other thread about having wondered about the "bomb looking device". I like the "rocket" idea. A "firecracker" could still look like a stick of dynomite if it's not drawn very well. The contest idea is "way-y-y-y cool" also.
Ill paypal you a dollar if you change it back to a red bomb.
