Just saw the ad for them today, makes me want to run out to my nearest Bigs store and see if they're starting to carry them. Hope to see a video of some in action soon. I'm assuming the "shooting star" effect is caused by some type of sparkler being connected to the flame pad.

would have been nice if the ad had some description, not just a picture.

Meh...cool but I'm looking ahead to other bigger ideas or products for 2014. I want shooting star super megakubes with the new paper design so it doesn't die at the slightest wind like at Shocktober...

Just tie a length of visco to them.... Even regular slow visco produces a cool effect!
    Fireworks....yay!

Yup! I like the orange falling fuse, but strobe underneath the Super MegaKube last night on the lake was sweeeeeeeeet...

It looked like a mini-hot air balloon rave party on the lake...hehe!

Tie a piece of fishing line to your sky lantern, then tie visco to that so it cant start your lantern on fire. then put strobes fuse flying fish fuse use firecrackers what ever you want on. time them by fuse length where you want them to go off at. You could use two lines on with different effects, just dont get to heavy.

Here is a video of how my classmates honored those that have passed. A sky lantern tribute with name announced as their lanterns are released.

I've been told that the link isn't working. Oh well.

Agree, I guess I was expecting more "action" with the sparkling. Oh well, I'll just stick with regular sky lanterns.

just tried one and there not that bad. they only cost a few cents more than the regular ones and add a nice extra effect. you have to get them in the air quick they sparkle alot more in the begining.
