    Default Connecting Fuse

My question is when connecting the fuse is it better to drill a hole in the mortar and run fuse through the hole or run along the tops? What are the benefits / disadvantages of hole drilling?

Here's a thread from earlier this month which talks about this and there are several hundred threads on here about fusing methods, advantages, disadvantages, etc. Please take the time to research questions before posting. Thanks.
