    Default Newbie fuse cutting question..

    Can you simply cut fuse with a pair of household scissors? If so, any special precautions to take or particular type of scissors to use/avoid? Or is this just toooo dangerous to do period? How do you cut it otherwise? i'm referring to "consumer" type fuse for say wiring up a rack of mortar shells.
