I'm hearing very good things about Golden Dragons. Not to be confused with the old Copperhead rewraps.

Myself along with some of the other guys seen those Sisters brand shells shot at the PGI Convention in Appleton Wi 2009. While they are good, IMO they have no business being considered a 'best of' shell unless they have recently changed.

I saw these 3D shells new for 2012. They come with 3d glasses. Not sure if its by big, but are they a gimmick or is there anything to them? Got an email from Skyking about them.
Some dude was shooting kiss of deaths at the NEOPG shoot we just had in Strasburg. I tracked him down to ask what the shells were and was dumbfounded when he said KOD. Granted I was only about 50ft away when they were going off but they seemed MUCH bigger than the ones I shot last year.
On a different note I'm told by several sources that Excals are the win this year. Also have heard that the symmetry on them appears to have cleaned up which is a concern for some of us. I'll have some at glass and I plan to film excals, max exposure, Asian deuces, American brave, iron Revengers, kod, 10000 artillery, spirit of liberty, and a few others. Hopefully in multiples of 5-10.... Or maybe by the case
Edit: Anyone know why when I post from my phone it merges my paragraphs and just looks like sh*t? I put spaces in like above and it just mushes it all together. Have to fix it from my pc right now.
I like these shells: http://vimeo.com/5516901

Has anyone shot this year's Arrow Destroyer Shells? I can only find video from 2011.
That's unpossible! -Patrick Star
I had heard the same thing about Excals this year. I shot the new ones with the funky tube against last years and Pro Shells. I shot Green Chrysanthemum (or how ever you spell it) effect in all shells. It was pretty windy but the undisputed consensuses was that Excals were the same and Pro Shells were the best of the three. So I am not real sure about the videos and the rumors about Excals this year but they seemed no better to me. To be fair I did only shoot one shell.
I went with Bigs Pro Shells over Excals this year, they were the same price and I've never shot the Pro Shells. I don't have any Excals to compare them to side by side unfortunately. From what I hear, I highly doubt I'll be disappointed with the Pro's.
This thread is a few months old and i just wanted to comment on excals since they get measured against most other shells...
One good thing about excals which i think has a slight edge over others is it comes with hdpe tubes! How many other kits on the market come with hdpe if any?
With these tubes you can easily make poor man racks and what not. These tubes will outlast many others which makes other tubes just throw away kits when your done with them. Yes im sure one could reuse the cardboard tubes a few times but it becomes a safety issue after time.
I guess if your buying by the bulk though and you already have 100 plus tubes then it probably doesnt matter if hdpe comes with the mortar kit you purchase, but for those that dont have racks i would have to say excals have a slight edge...
