Default 10 Ball Roman Candle vs 96 Shot pearl Flower

Ok whats better in your option? Lighting either case or two all at once for mass effect on final.

The pearl flowers because of the longer duration. The only drawback to either being the amount of smoke that they can produce.

Thats just a preference thing on my part with the pearl flowers. The nice thing with the candles is the variety of effects and that varies a lot.For a finale theres lots of cheap mini cakes that can fit the bill as well, Mighty Cobra/Killer Cobra comes to mind.

I love to use both. You can be more creative with candles. Fan them out, crisscross them for some awesome effects and fronts.

I've done both, with a few more cases. This is the crackle pre-finale with 5 cases of roman candles. 16 feet long and about 5 candles deep, starting around the 45 second mark.

And this is 6 cases of color pearls, 55 feet long and 2 cakes deep.

This year I'm thinking 10 to 20 cases of the mighty cobra. Maybe spread out in a snake like pattern, so they'll start at the head and go to the tail.

I think the candles are much better way to go. I like the speed that a bunch a candles fires at compared to the pearl cakes.

EDIT: I just watched the vids above and I am sure that the candles are much better.

I prefer to use color pearls as they are easier to set up than candles. There is nothing stopping from angling them and criss-crossing them. You just put some on a board and angle it with a rock or another picece of wood.

I am thinking of both this year- 2 cases of color pearls on a front, as they start to ween, a case or 2 of candles with report fanned....
