When I finish my left arm 10 plus or more hours,I am gonna start my right arm in a half sleve from elbow to wrist in all of my fave old school and new labels, logos and the likes! Most are gonna be brand logos like the old thunder bomb label the zebra cracker label,of course the black cat and so on!

Whenever I'm planning a new piece I save a bunch of google images I like. Then I put them in photoshop and arrange them how I like. Ultimatly its up to the artist to design the piece as he sees fit imo. I have been planning a leg piece with a shell flying out of a mortar, han t and celebration crackers & fire all done in old school japanese style-

I've always wanted to get a lit string of firecrackers that has been twisted in the "DNA" strand fashion for around my bicep. Thought that would look pretty cool, but I too lack any artisic drawing ability.

I am deathly afraid of needles, but if I were to get a tattoo, that would be the one.

I think most talented tatoo artists are willing to help you come up with an original design. find photos of things you'd like to depict, shells, mortars etc. including big star breaks and comet tails and so forth. might cost a little more but it will be one of a kind. There is plenty of good talent out there and they are always prouder of original work.

    Cheers

I think a strip of red firecrackers going off would look good for a tattoo.

My tattoo guy is drawing my new one up now. I am planning on it in a couple of weeks, I am not gonna give up the ghost on it but it is diffently pyro related and will take up from my ankle to a good portion of my calf. I will post a pic when its complete. This one makes number 5. My wife just got her second.

If I got a firework tat it would be a combination of two mentioned here

black mamba box art w/DNA-style firecrackers swirling around it
    Flama pulchra amo.

That firecracker tatt is really cool. I was thinking about something similar only over the shoulder.
