My experience with Golden Bear has been very good. Good performance and breaks are nice. NOABS are very good.

Everyone is entitled to there opinion.I cannot afford to buy say 12 cases of NOAB at 2/1 for 60$+ .However if they were packed 4/1 i would definatly get more as I am sure you and many others would to.All the Golden Bear Noab I shot last year were phenomenal.I would buy them again in a heart beat.They squashed any Brothers NOAB I had.

True...was disappointed in a few I had high expectations for, but blown away by the size and symmetry of others. Have only one so far, will buy a few cases this year. Not familiar with the eoab's yet.

I doubt there would be any difference. Sure, 500/9 = 55.5g/shot and 500/8 = 62.5g/shot, but there is a 60g max per shell. On top of that, only 40g can be break and effects which would be a max of 360g in a 9 shot and 320g in an 8 shot, so I doubt any good cake isn't already using the 40g max in each shell. The rest would be lift and effects like tails and mines, not in the breaks, which would only be a few grams more per shot.

That said Self Destruction by Big Fireworks is an 8 shot that I really liked, it has some nice mines!
