    Default 4th of 2008 setup pics

    Well this was my first e-fired show...worked pretty good for a first timer. I used an oda 10 cue with an ABC switchbox and a 12 cue wireless system I made. One of my main boards didn't go off and that really pissed me off, but overall I would say the show murdered every neighbor up and down my street...I even had the party down the road cheering at the end of the finale!!

    It lasted 12 mins but from 3 mins to 4 mins it was pretty dead b/c something went wrong with my system and I couldn't figure it out (I put it into test w/out thinking ) and then from 8 to 9 I had dead air again except for one 500g going...don't even know what happend there...oh well. Anyways here are some pics of the setup.

    nice job!!! I know alot of work went into that...rc rack angle racks and cakes nobabs zipper cakes..very nice..did you get video??

    I do have a video but it's avii format and I don't know how to convert it to WMp. It's also 146 mb and don't one how to compress it

    thanks...I'm working on the video as we speak. Actually I'm just getting pissed b/c I can't convert it to a wmp...It was taken on a shitty digital camera so its not that great of a video...Also I would like to edit it b/c there are some spots where I was having trouble w/ my firing system and on like 3 different occassions there was only one 500g going off for a minute....but I'm working on it.

    I believe you can use windows movie make to edit. that is if you run windows OS..I'm not an expert on this either but you can use the tutorial..

    Not a bad pic at all, looks like a great place to shoot! Yeah, Windows Movie Maker in Programs, Accessories, Entertainment (assuming you have XP) will read an AVI and write a WMV file, compress it by a bunch, too.

    Alright so I have the videos...the show and the board that didn't go off. But I'm having a huge problem uploading them into my gallery...The videos won't even upload and the pictures are saying theres an error.

    anybody else having any problems or is just me?

    Ok so here is the video...its terrible quality. I think I compressed it to much...it was ok at first before I compressed, but now I think its a lot worse than before. oh well....

    I did edit out the dead spots...

    Just a Question? When things go wrong with one of your shows how long does it bug you? I know I relive the issue for months... don't want to hijack the thread but it seems relevant.

    Oh man its still killing me that everything didn't go as planned...i think I'll be relieved by NYE...hopefully I'll be home to have that shoot.
