My recent Fireworks Adventure

Here we are less than a month away from the 4th of July and the anticipation is building. The days are going by and I begin to ask myself when do i complete my poor mans rack. When do I being to put the cakes to tape and board? Do I begin now, only to change my mind in the days to come?

What order and what days to shoot what? As the 4th this year is on Monday it inevitably leads one to think that the sky will be filled with bangs and colors all weekend long. Do I shoot the same night as the big commercial display? Oh so many questions and what is now becoming so little time.

One thing that is happening this year for sure is that the display will be bigger and longer and much better organized. I have my first wireless firing system. This is the first year going wholesale, thanks to the guys at Big's and SO76....This will make the weekend memorable.

The one thing I want to pass on to everyone is please have a safe and fun 4th of July. Enjoy the day that lets us all celebrate our freedoms here. I hope everyone has the great memories to pass on from generation to generation.
