Enjoying summer break. Not heading home, ticket prices just too high for it to be economically feasible. Working a little, yah, had to get a job for first time since starting grad school in '08. Well, didn't HAVE to, but it'll b nice 2 have some xtra cashes for pyro, food, and other stuff. Met a guy at some drag races, gave me a business card, gf her took car 2 him and we got to talking, both have cisco certifications in our past and moved onto different career paths, offered me a job at 1/2 labor, shit, $32.50 an hour I'll get my hands dirty, PLUS the nice bonus is I got a sweet shop uniform w/ my name on it I can wear to various labs, no more scrubs! Hate scrubs, pants have no pockets, the shirt has 1 tiny pocken outside that wont hold anything, not even my keys, and one pocket inside that's even fffing smaller. Worked on a smoke bomb earlier, my first time working on one here in tx. Still don't have something right, also, second attempt at color failed. I need to either add something to it or leave something out of it or change proportions because they burn too fast. I swear if it was upside-down and on a stick they would take flight, for color I added copper powder to the mix, it was successful in turning the flame an awesome color but the smoke remained the same boring gray.
