Im gonna need about 400 mortars for next year, who has the best quality for the lowest price, or discount for bulk. If i need to buy more to get them real cheap Ill do it.
fiberglass will do, they dont have to be hdpe.
Also, can i get them year round, or only around the season?

Most people will probably say Pyrogear.net, but PyroU sells fiberglass also.
(Heard there were some problems with those, maybe someone can chime in)

As far as I've heard, Pyrogear has the best prices and they have a great product, read the reviews from this site...research a little maybe...
As far as the fiberglass tubes from PyroU, I have over 300 and I haven't had a problem yet...been shot out of several times...

IMO go with COLIN. He sells them 40 (15") to a case. might even do you a break ordering 10 cases at once

If you want fiberglass, go with Colin. If HDPE, pyrogear...

I know 25 hdpe will fill a milk crate but how many of the fiberglass does it take to fill a milk crate?

ITCHI... that would depend on the milk crate... I have a couple of different sizes... on holds 25 HDPE another holds 30... As far as using fiberglass... you can get 29 in one and 35 in the other... but you will need to use wood shims to keep everything from flopping around in the crate... they do not fit tight like HDPE.

Pyro gear fan here. I have ordered tubes from Pyrogear and a ten shot rack. Great quality, great prices and fast shipping. I'm getting ready to order some additional mortars pretty soon. I hope they get some smaller ID tubes soon I wanna build a HDPE rack for my mini mortars. If not I'll just rig something up using the cardboard tubes that came with the case. T

I have a great source for mortars in the Chicago area for anyone interested within an hour or so of here. The mortars are priced competitively and it at least saves on shipping costs in the Chicago area.
However, I have used pyrogear before and would recommend them. Great service and timely delivery. I just have a new local source now that saves me shipping costs. Chicago fellas can pm about the place I buy from if you'd like.
