Hey guys. I was just talking to Rod Hash from Wolverine West, who was just talking to Tim Leahey (EDITED: not directly affiliated with Wolverine, haha...). They both are well aware of our humble group known as Pyro Universe. I've talked to Rod a lot about the quality of pyro's and the amount of information held in the minds of the members. As many of you know, Wolverine has had a place at the PGI convention the past few years, and will be continuing the tradition this year.
However, Rod wanted me to extend this invitation to any Pyro U members who may be attending this year (this is a direct message from Rod):
"For those attending the PGI convention in Fargo, ND who are interested in
helping Wolverine West Fireworks set-up a class C display, visit Rod Hash at
the Wolverine West vending table in class C barn.
Their class C display will be on Monday night (8/6/07) in Fargo. It will
include 125 to 150 of their cakes fired from 5 positions with a display
duration of 7 to 10 minutes. The display is choreographed to music and will
be shot using timecode. The setup will begin on Monday, late morning. See
Rod in class C vending for scheduling and meeting location prior to class C
vending closing on Sunday night (8/5/07)."
If you are interested or would like to know a little more, just post here and i'll pass along the questions to Rod. Otherwise, it looks like all you would need to do to help would be to visit him at the booth (as stated above). I hope a few of you get a chance to take Rod up on his offer. He is a great guy to work with!
