So i did some research and i plan on building some mortor racks... Im going to use some HDPE and am not sure on the size i need.. Im thinking SDR11 will be fine for my excalibur shells.... I also have a lot of silver salute canisters from phantom.... What size tubing should i use and also how long should it be.... Also how many uses am I SAFELY able to use them for? thanks guys!

Look on www.pyrogear.net. They have lots of info on the safety of HDPE and how they need plugged.
SDR11 is the right size. 12" to 15" will work just fine. Just make sure the tubes are plugged correctly. Again, look on pyrogear.net for what the mortars look like if you plan to make your own.

Ditto on the SDR11. You want 2 inch SDR11 for excals. I think the inner diameter is 1.91 inches. I purhcased plugs from midwest wood specialties. They're cheap and beveled so they're easy to pound in with a hammer. Here's an example of my tubes (http://www.flickr.com/photos/dfluke/241279474/in/set-72157594283079884/)
I put a bead of liquid nails around the end of the hdpe, hammer in a plug, and put 3 1 inch staples in the tube. They work great. screws will work if you don't have an air compressor.
