I was looking for plugs to build my own mortars, and save some $$$
and soonerkid posted some links here : http://www.pyrouniverse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75

Now these plugs say 1.5" thick , but the mortars I purchased commercially are much bigger (1.3G BTW) My 8" mortar plug looks like it is about 6" thick and has 6 lags 3 on each side of tube. Is there a recomended chart to follow, or is 1.5" good enough for all size mortars?

Penn this may be wrong but this is what i was going by if it sounds wrong someone correct me!

Hdpe Size - Plugs

1.75" - 1.5
2.5" - 1.5
3" - 1.5 (could be x 2)
4" - 1.5 x 2
5" - 1.5 x 2
6" - 1.5 x 2 (could be x 3)
8" - 1.5 x 3
10" - 1.5 x 4
12" - 1.5 x 4 (could be x 5)

And anything over 2 plugs i would diffinately "bolt" and not use screws!
