Well my contigency plan with Pyrotechnico fell threw so now I'm back to step one. My question is if I call my local ATF office, will they release a list of individual users with approved storage? I'm thinking there has to be at least one person within two hours from me with approved storage that wouldn't mind working with me.

I would doubt it. I'd say the burdon is on you to satisfy the requirements for a permit. You'll just have to sniff out someone in your area with a magazine willing to support you for the contingency requirement.

You could try and see if there are any blasting companies in your area that would be willing to write you a letter. Any pyroguilds you could join that may have storage?

Around here the SFM publishes a list of all the State Licenced Display shooters, distributors, and importers on its website. Not sure about your state, but its worth a check.

I am not sure about your state, but some have an open records law that lists persons or businesses that have hazardous materials storage. Most likely because you have to register your magazine with your state fire marshals office it’s in that register as a haz mat.

Check with your local courthouse and see what the laws are, you may be able to find something there to help you out.
