What method did you use for fusing ? Quick match, fast visco, or what ? Any misfires in the way you fused them ?

Just the fuses of the fireworks are used. Chained together with masking tape.
lights with one fuse and goes down the line.

I did have ONE spot not trasfer the fire, so I reached in and re-lit that part from the opposite end right away and it still went off as great, just the colors of the shells were off from what was planned, spectators none the wiser.

The show was about 15 500 gram cakes, 6 200 gram cakes and then the finale, about 6 minutes or so. $700 budget

Don't Ya just love raking all that tin foil?

When did Ya shoot that? Looks like you guys were cold. I got a sunburn Sat.setting up the NYE show in Columbia,MO.
OK, 50% sunburn X 50% windburn :D

That fusing must have taken lots of time or people.

That rack is SWEET! Did you build it yourself?

The fusing takes about 2-3 hours through the day. Not too bad I guess. Would be nice to do a B show, but with o'fallon getting $250 right off the top for the permit on a $700 show.... just doens'nt work.

Technically we need a permit for this show, but they prefer to just look the other way and let ya fend for yourself with the county.

Just a lil note for any first-time rack-builders re: something of this size.... make sure you are on top of your wookworking. Noel know what he's doing, but if you have a weak joint and something were to go wrong, you have the possibility of 40+ loaded tubes lying flat on the ground possibly poised to shoot at your audience.
A good thing about his fusing method, is that if the above were to happen, the odds are decent that the chain will be broken somewhere... just don't assume it will break at the next shot.

What? No video?

BTW, it says right there on ImageShack: "The uploading of pornographic materials is strictly prohibited." I can't speak for anyone else, but I found this photo to be extremely arousing ...
