Vote set on fireworks ban -Seattle,WA

Now voters will have a chance in February to overturn the city's new fireworks ban as the result of a residents' initiative campaign.

City council members unanimously rejected on Oct. 10 a proposed new fireworks ordinance that came to them through a petition drive.

I highly doubt that the city of Seattle will ever again allow fireworks. Outlying communities such as this one (Sea-Tac) may be a different story. Most of the surrounding major communities (Burien, Des Moines, Tukwila, Renton, and Seattle) ban all fireworks. I'm curious to see how this turns out.
