Hmm, should I have called this "Operation: MySpace Morons" instead? The guys at MySpace could certainly do their part by requiring an IQ test on registration.

Anyways, here are some of the "incriminating" videos I have found. Note that this is only the tip of the iceberg; I simply don't have time to check every one of the 515 pages of video relating to "fireworks". But here are some of them. I'm not going to bother to provide a description of the links this time.

----
Operation: MySpace Mayhem
Objective: To uncover the idiocy of MySpace users that misuse fireworks.
Effective: Now and ongoing
Details: A short reconnaissance mission to MySpace has uncovered countless videos showing fireworks abuse. Further operations may be expected today until the evening. There are plans for the mission to be extended to YouTube. More videos are expected to show up the next few following days.

Evidence gathered:

Maybe I should leave comments on these videos that this is totally unsafe?

After seeing those videos, I feel like crying in the corner of my room. I'll probably find more videos after my sanity returns.

All the more reason people should need licenses to buy fireworks.

Banning roman candles wouldn't hurt either. Their effects are done in cakes and they are the most abused and misused fireworks.

I think, any idiot can use anything in a destructive way. It is these people that don't think. Their actions are the cause of the banning of the very thing that they have fun with.

Can the people who sell powder on ebay be turned in? It looks like one guy has been selling a lot of this powder (500+ feedbacks). in 1/2lb and 1lb sizes.

Aluminum powder, as well as Potassium Chlorate, have legitmate uses that preclude prosecution of a seller unless they had, or should have had some knowledge of the illegitimate intent of the end user.

I have been on EBay for a long time and have noticed the sales of these items. EBay no longer allows the selling of Potassium Perchlorate beacuse a California legislator sent them a letter expressing concern about water contamination due to illicit perchlorate usage. But Aluminum powder is still being sold...

As regards the MySpace morons and YouTube yahoos, I can not imagine a more sterling example of natural selection than the mentality of people who do things like this, survive, and then record videotape evidence of their FELONY and post it on a public website. 8o

The Fed prosecutors must be licking their chops in joyous anticipation.
MORON, CONVICT THYSELF!!!

Thanks for the vids.
They are nothing but a bunch of "MORONS". They are the true reason most fireworks are banned in most states (especially mine) :(
