I was at the Florida /alabama border yesterday found a store that was selling Excals for 46$ a box, thats the cheapest ive seen them for retail! I was so tempted to buy a few and have a good time this weekend, have ya'll seen them cheaper than that retail?

I've seen em as low as $49 retail. But, I would also check to make sure that there are 24 shells in it as well.

poor pauls sells them for around 35.00. and when jeff has them there 27.00. thats the cheapest retail I have ever seen.

The retail price at Victory is $34.99 for one box of 24.

Here, retail is about 40-45$. But of course, I wouldn't be purchasing retail. LOL :D

I went the day after Thanksgiving to buy fireworks, Try to buy Ex. The lady said that they had sold the last case. Theirs are $22.00. I also saw a recall notice on her wall. Could not get to close to read, But from what i could see. I saw the date, 7/4/06 It had something to do about the instructions on proper firing. Has anyone heard this?

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: 24-shot Excalibur Reloadable Artillery Shell Kits
Units: About 75,000 reloadable kits
Importer: Jake's Fireworks Inc., of Pittsburg, Kan.
Hazard: The aerial shells are fused, shaped, and labeled in a way that could cause consumers to unintentionally place them into the launch tube upside down, resulting in a ground-level explosion. Such an explosion can cause serious injuries to consumers in close proximity of the device.
Incidents/Injuries: CPSC has confirmed one incident where a consumer inadvertently placed an Excalibur shell inside a tube upside down. No injuries were reported.
Description: These 24-shot Excalibur Reloadable Artillery Shell Kits are sold in a black box with plastic windows. The shell kits are a consumer fireworks device that consists of a black plastic launch tube and twenty-four display shells in a display box. “24 shot Excalibur Reloadable Artillery Shell Kits” and “World Class Fireworks” are written on the front of the display box. Only the model 24 shot Excalibur Reloadable Artillery Shell Kits are included in this recall.
Sold at: Fireworks retailers, including display stands and tents in states permitting the sale of consumer fireworks, from Winter 2003 through Winter 2004 for about $30.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the fireworks immediately and return the entire device to the store where purchased for a full refund or contact Jake's Fireworks for further instructions.
