Just got done building six ten shot straight racks and this eighteen shot angle rack. Personally, I think it came out great. I still have to attach the eyelets for the rebar but I thought I would post a pic to make all my sawdust eating seem worthwhile!

Great job! Some of the sturdiest looking racks I've seen built lately. With the size and weight of those, you may not even need the stakes but one can never be TOO safe I suppose. Nice work!

That looks very nice. Great work. That design looks like it could make a great assemble at home Kit.

Looks good. How much does it weigh?

...to ease your storage/back ....

Instead of using the 2x4's on the sides, you can cut 2 peices of plywood and then asemble at the shoot site.

Either way, you ready to shoot and that's all that matters.

It is definately hefty. I am well aware of using plywood at the shoot site - I prefer to have things done, built and ready to go instead of dealing with even more things the day of the show. I have no problem with plywood on the sides - this is just sturdier.

Whatever makes you happy. If you've got the muscles, more power to ya!
So get out there and get that rack black!

I know I will not be the one lugging that thing around the day of the shoot!!:P

Although you will probably just sucker some of the, "new help," into doing it for ya.....
