They work, but require high current to fire. I would not try to connect them in series for multiple ignites, but they may work if you have the power to spare to try in parallel.
I have used them in a pinch but in my area, they are about $1.00 each and that is a lot when you can make your own nichrome core igniter's cheaper...minus your time.

I tried them, didnt work all that well for me. Make you some thru-the-core ones, works great and CHEAPER!

What type of high current r u talking about?
