Not sure if any of you remember me from the old forum but I'm here if you need weather updates for any of your launchings that you have scheduled.

Can't wait for this upcoming fourth

currently:I am Gathering a nice stash for a decent show.

Plenty of fountains(long lasting & loud) this way. Plenty of moon travelers you always need those.

Talk again soon.

hey...it's the weatherman

glad to have you back

first question.....whats up with the record breaking low pressure system hovering over my head right now (toledo ohio) they said thursday night it broke a record at the grand rapids weather lab for the month of may. something like 28 MB....it was spinning cold funnels off the ground, the clouds were almost touching the ground around here....crazy stuff. been drizzeling and pouring now for 3 days, nothing but overcast and drab. the guy on the news last night said if this storm was on the ocean heading twords florida it would be a cat 3 huricane!!!

It's an upper level LOW very very slow moving. The showers will last into tuesdaymorning then gradually clear out. Thunderstorms where also probably occuring the last hour or so in the toledo area. I'm not sure about any record breaking low pressure but if this system was a fast mover it would be your everyday rain day event..in other words a nuisance. The problem is it's slow and there is no kicker behind it to push this thing rapidly to the east, infact- there is another low pressure ahead of it thats blocking any possible rapid momentum it would have towards the east. If this was late June and this sytem was found in the gulf it is quite possible that it may indeed been able to form a hurricane of atleast a cat 2 -4 range.

In the enxt half hour Toledo is going to get ROCKED. Very heavy rain and frequent lightning on the way within the enxt 15-30 minutes for the area.

Rain bands will keep rotating around the low pressure until atleats monday night. Tuesday you will see some left over showers before the next system moves in- hopefully we'll have a breather.

Better now then later, eh?

*bows*

as i read this i hear massive rumbles of thunder

you are god

thank you.....

but that "record low barometric reading" i refferanced was straight from the grand rapids michigan national weather ....whatever. toledo is a boaring town so it was all over the news thursday night friday morning. along with the father robinson trial. should be hearing about that for at least 6 more months. but yeah they had video of clouds rolling in at spinning funnels of cold air off the ground....very strange indeed. they all (all 4 local channels) ran top stories about it being so very odd. then they would play the clip of these "rare cold air funnels" ,so they said, like 50 times in 2 days. like i said toledo is boaring. you know the city has a slow news day when footage of non violent weather is the only thing they talk about.

Glad to see you are back. You always made accurate predictions for my shows many days in advance. I will probably hit you up again this year. Though, I thought you had a different name NYTony or something like that.

I am moving this to the introduction section.

Aren't you the guy who predicted the rain storm we had here last fourth of July? You're not going to do that again are you? Actually it was nice having the heads up even if it's bad news it's better to know.

I should type faster next time. This post is outdated...

Though, I thought you had a different name NYTony or something like that.

No disrespect meant to the returning member, but..

This isn't the same weather guy as you all think it is.

AnthonyNJPyro is the weather guy that helped you out Joe, as well as many others, over the past few years. I'm not saying bayside igniter never helped anyone with his forcasting, I just think there is some confusion here that should be cleared up before it gets out of hand.

Anthony has been a member of both the old and new forums under the same alias the whole time. We are good friends, do shows together, etc...he has not been active in while because of school, work, and a lack of interest in the pyro world (for now) brought on soley by monetary constraints.

BTW, Today is his birthday--big 21! I will try to let him know about this so he can make a post to affirm what I'm saying.

Like I said a couple posts above. I'm not Tony but I did forecast with him on the old forums. So I think it's pretty clear since I said I AM NOT TONY.

Though me and tony post on the SAME WEATHER FORUM and know eachother from there.

I might even know you actually.

Anyways, Let their be no mix up both me and tony are weather hobbyists and thats the bottom line.
