Hey there all I am a returning Lurker form the old board... currently I am stuck in california for work.... I cannot wait to get out of this wretched state that does not allow anything cool....granted some of the scenery is nice but... I am now here on this board to find other fellow local and nonlocal people interested in one of the greatest hobbies someone could have.... its a tossup ----fireworks or machineguns.....:lol: I look forward to meeting and chatting with fellow Pyro's

There are places to shoot, we do several group shoots a year at Moapa, and there is always Walker River Indian Reservation, you should be able to find alot of info from using the search feature on the forum.
There are quite afew of us out here in Cali both North and South.

At least you can get some fireworks there. I just moved from Sacramento. What really irks me is the selection which sucks even for safe and sane. To make matters worse... the retail prices at the stands are absurd.....
Still....you get enough safe and sane stuff together at once... you can still have a good time..... Build some plateforms to get more elevation.... You don't want to get caught with illegal fireworks however... The authorities are not too forgiving....
.... or you can catch a flight to Portland Oregon and then drive over the boarder to Washington State...... I go to Long Beach Washington for the fourth. The entire beach is one massive and insane fireworks show... Careful though... There are a fair number of Darwin award candidates out there.

If you came down Las Vegas way you can shoot fireworks at Moapa and on the way stop at Tactical to Practical and shoot your Machineguns too LOL
