You could just use spent cakes if you have any.

Did you search this forum? There are several threads on candle racks. Search the old forums for more info.

fastest easiest roman candle rack is very simple a few blocks of wood for spacers and a roll of duct tape .
materials needed
spray adheasive
duct tape
wood blocks
roman candles
and a little sticky or quickmatch (homemade works fine)
some 2f black powder
a piece of rebar to secure it to

In general about 6 or 7 packs of roman candles leave them in the celophane just cut around the top to expose the fuses. Then spray the with adheasive and dip in the BP. once all packs are primed fan them using the wood blocks at the top and tape securely, Tape around the bottoms and secure to the rebar pin (best done in the field) . Now lay a piece of stickmatch across all the packs and add a piece of visco ( when this lights it flares quite large )
when its all done just toss in the trash like a spent cake (doesnt take up space in storage)

Ive never made a roman candle rack before either. My show is going to be on a beach, i was wondering if there is anything wrong with just taping 10 candles toghether and sticking them in the sand? I might make them all in a straight line and use a couple peices of wood for support, would the force of it shooting out of the end of them damage the candles adjacent to eachother?

Quick, easy, and disposable.

also some good quick and easy's....

3 or more coffee can stuffed full in a front looks good

and the ole bucket o sand works quite well too. with the bucket/box of sand you can position them anyway you want then fuse em up and fire away. much harder to do this ahead of time, but it's good for a quick rack.
