I'm looking at the forecast for next week and due to current weather patterns, I'm expecting rain for a portion of the day here in south Florida. The evening has a low chance of rain so I should be good for the shoot, but during the day of setup I may get whacked pretty hard.

My idea is that I will have all my cake boards fused, tie wrapped and taped with duct tape. The shells I will have similarly executed. Each cake/shell will be covered. Then each will get covered by those plastic shopping bags. All fire works are elevated off of the ground so thats not an issue. Then I have a few tarps (25'X25') that i was going to place over all of the stuff. Is this good enough? is there drawbacks? how does everyone else deal with wet/humid conditions.
