What size tube did you use? Also, can you please give me some measurements of the individual 10 shot rack and how you put it together. I am thinking of doing this exact setup.
Thanks.

these are dr11 guns
for an inside diameter of each rack, I used 24-3/4". this gives you a little play in the tubes.
for the frames of the racks I used some donated 5/4(1-1/4) stock hardwood, but 2x3 works fine.
the OSB's are 1/2" plywood ripped into 3" strips.
From what I have read on this site, the lower osb's don't need to be any higher than the plug of the gun in the rack.
this makes alot of sense, as to the rack stands a better chance of surviving a flowerpot.

Dude,
Those are informative specs on the racks, but you didn't list the specs on the "Gibson" hanging out in the corner. Is that a "Les Paul" or what. What are you into playing (if it's yours)?

that is an ES335-DOT series with 11's for strings, tuned down a whole step then drop c.
makes for quite an unusual tone:D
by these specs, you should know what I like to play

Love the yellow rack. Will be building racks for the first time this year, and have been looking through all the many pics and designs of racks on this site and others. That rack is more along the lines of what I have in mind. Just getting to start sketching out the various sizes and such. I'm really looking forward to it!!
