I just got off the phone w/Nick @ pyro mortars, and ordered 150 guns.
I want to build a "super rack", and have a question or two.
I will start by building all 10 shot single row racks.
for the sake of keeping it simple, if I were to build an 80 shot rack, what would be the maximum distance in inches of spread at the top of each row and still keep a "safe" final angle at the ends.
Is it even possible?
Same question for a 30 shot and 40 shot.

I figure between these, the 6 10-shot, 4 20-shot racks I got from pyro gear, and 100 or so cardboard tubes that I am gonna harden and turn into MCR's, I will have a fair enough amount of racks.

P.S. I am not concerned about weight, If you know me, you know why.

75 degrees, aka 15 degrees off vertical, seems generally accepted as maximum safe angle on fan racks for shells. (http://www.pyrouniverse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4387&highlight=degrees+fan+rack) So you might try something based on this design (http://www.pyrouniverse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5944&highlight=degrees+fan+rack).

With maybe the eight rows arranged as two in the center at 90 degrees (vertical) and the three rows on either side at 5 degree increments off of that. Say \ 75, 80, 85, 90, | 90, 95, 100, 105 /.

Hope that helps!
