Can anyone clue me in on what to expect from years past about the PGI nightly schedule? Less than a week away and I really haven't heard much about it other than radio adds. I know I could post this to the PGI list but it seems that this list gets better response than the official list. Could just be that everyone there is extremely busy right now.

Also, anybody know what areas the public is permitted into? My dad wants to check out a show with us but he isn't a member. I'm wondering if we will have to sit in the public area.

Okay, and one last question...any must haves must do's that I should check out?

Thanks

Dan

Your dad, being a non member can only see the evening shows from the Public viewing area (grandstands)

You MUST go to the class C tent, and buy all that you can, and fire it off at the Class C firing line!! :D

So can my dad go to the class C line and watch? I plan on going to the line but at the same time I don't want to miss out on any of the competitions. This is a big part of why I wonder what has gone on in the past. I'm not sure what to expect.

Like Dan said, viewing from the grandstands only for non-members. They can still see the c-line high aerial from there but it is a long way off to the west, the grandstands face south.
Then there is the thing that the PGI usually has the west end of the stands reserved for PGI members only.

Must see things?
Stop by the Pyro Novelties booth in the trade show, Katherine is one of the nicest persons you could ever get pyro goodies from.

Afterglows

Look & ask around for the MPAG guys, they may be cooking up some good things for the week, Ya never know.

Afterglows

The Bluegrass folks are a great group also.

Did I mention the Afterglows? :D

Can anyone scan a copy of the schedule that was probably published in the latest bulletin? I am out of town for work so I am not getting my mail and won't be home before the convention.

What clubs are shooting?

What night is the girandola competition?

I'd love to scan the schedule from the last bulletin but there was not one. :(

All I know is that they sells tickets to the public on Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, and Friday. There was a little about seminars and preregistration as well. About a handful of seminars.

Less than a week away and no published schedule. I check their website about once an hour.

mattmattmatt...check your PM's

Here is a little info. that was sent to the BPG list. Unless you've been to several conventions it may not make much sense to you.

I was thinking that there was a competition choreographed to music. Is this really happening? If so any idea what night? I've seen some videos of this nd it looks really cool. I want to make sure I make it.

We are shooting the demo for Flower King.
I'll tell you all now, it is purely a DEMO.
It is being fired using a Fire One system with a sound track, but it is not choreographed and it will NOT have a finale at all. Flower King dictated the firing order of all of the items.
There is a bunch of 1.4g cake items, including 2- 3" 9 Shot cakes that are demoed first in the program. They will be handing out the demo list which includes the duration for all of the cake items.
If the sheet they hand out does not have the durations and you see something you like, contact me as I have them on an excel spreadsheet. ;)

"So can my dad go to the class C line and watch? "

Stuntborg, I had some non-member friends sitting in the public area at Winter Blast, earlier this year. I brought a pair of walkie talkies so I could let my friends know when I was firing something from the C lines. They filmed some stuff from there with my camera and it came out ok.

Remember to have fun and not get overwhelmed and anxious like I did at my first WWB.;)

Since I got the schedule we made our plans. We are going to sit in the public area on Sunday night for the openning. Thats probably all he will go for. Then on Friday he gets the pleasure of taking care of my kids for the day while the wife and I spend the day.

I'll have to pick and choose the rest based on what we can get for daycare but all in all it should be good.
